Beyond the Court services specialized in working with youth and young adults. Empowering clients and students that they can reach their goals. Beyond the Court provides Motivational Speaker, Workshops, Programs and Basketball Camps to let the clients and students know that regardless of their social-economic status with Hardwork, Dedication and Not Giving Up you can achieve your goals.

Motivational Speaker:

Sam Ashaolu will share his remarkable story of overcoming adversity to achieve his goals. He will share his story how he grew up in the Community house in Rexdale, single parent house hold and overcame obstacles to being one of the top basketball players in Canada and getting recruited by over twenty-five of the top Division 1 Universities in the United States. After getting shot twice in the head at University, the doctors did not think he was going to survive. He overcame all his challenges and he achieved two degrees. He shares his story of Never Giving Up.

Workshops

Over Coming Adversity:
Working with youth and young adults on overcoming adversity and challenges that will occur in everyone life. Teaching youth and young adults the most effective ways to overcome adversity. Sitting and listing to youth and young adults and encouraging them.

Dedication:
Beyond the Court works with youth and young adults how to stay dedicated on their task. Wheatear Its academics, sports we want to strive them to give it 100 percent every time. We know it’s hard for some youth and young adults to stay dedicate to there task and being successful we are here to provide support.

Never Give Up:
Beyond the Court will support youth and young adults’ ways to Never Give Up on achieving their goal or dreams. We let youth and young that is not going to be easy to achieve your goals and dreams, but if you stick with it, don’t give up and give it 100 percent you will achieve your dream and that will make you stronger in life.

Programs

Counselling:
Beyond the Court will give professional help and advice to youth and young adults to their personal problems. We provide support to youth and young adults that are facing Trauma, Cognitive Behaviour Issues and Family issues to help identify goals and solutions.

Life-Skills:
Beyond the Court teaches youth and young adults social and behaviour skill that will help them adjust to everyday life. We hope to teach youth and young adult’s ways to manage their lives in a healthy and productive way.

Education:
Beyond the Court will provide support to students who need extra help with there academics. We will provide assistant on students who are having problems in classes and need extra support on their academics. We also push students who do not assert themselves into completing their assignments by having to complete homework before participating in extracurricular activities.

Employment:
Beyond the Court will help youth and young adults with employment, by provide them with information and teach them the skills, work experience and the abilities they need to be successful in the labour market. We will reach out to companies, teach youth and young adults proper resume formatting.

Mentorship:
Beyond the Court providing relationship and knowledgeable experience that guides and nurture the development or growth of youth and young adults.

Financial Literacy:
Beyond the Court will provide youth and young adults on how to spend their money. We will teach students steps on saving, setting up a bank account and high interest saving account. In lighting students about TFSA and RRSP’s and the advantages of starting when you are young. Teach youth and young adults to think long term.

Basketball Camps

Beyond the Court also provide summer and winter basketball camps, where we go over the fundamentals of the game, how to work in a team setting and hard work. We train basic kids to advance. There will be speakers and professional basketball players to teach the student so they can reach their maximum level.
